We were delighted to welcome the Minister for Housing and Welfare, Margaret Burgess, to our Jeanfield development on 17th December 2015.
The Minister spent time speaking with representatives from our clients, Hillcrest Housing Association as well as Perth and Kinross Council.
It was a cold and wet day but that didn’t stop the Minister having a good look around the site and going inside some of the properties currently under construction. She also visited a very happy Hillcrest Tenant in their home which had recently been completed.
It was a real honour to have the Minister on site and to get the chance to talk to her about what we do and our vision of meeting housing need. She was interested in the partnership approach and learned about some of the challenges we faced along the way.
The Minister was really complimentary of the development whilst she was on site and tweeted about the visit calling it a “great development”.
